    I've emailed the Fisheries a few months ago when I saw that boat in Coal & Candle creek and here's their response : "The Cowan Creek fishing closure is for all nets not crab traps. "

    Gday, As you probably know, there's a bushfire raging close to Bobbin Head. Does anybody know how the Apple Tree Bay boat ramp is affected ? Is access closed ? Cheers Lanchong

    I've heard that bass are upstream of the weir, but you're not allowed to fish from the shore over there. So you'll need a kayak or equivalent. But I've never tried as I don't have any yak and power boats are not allowed. Isn't it a little bit early for the bass season ?

    PJ sharks are not protected like grey nurse sharks. They're actually very common, maybe too much for some anglers.
