    Robalo Boats

Huey, thanks for the info. I like Haines but I cant afford a patriot or similar hence the reason i'm looking at a US boat. WRXHoon, thanks for the info, i'm aware of the width requirements and do like the Grady boats, I think the aesthetics of the Grady are a little old fashioned, i'm not a fan of the square-ish window, they are a great boat though. BillyD, The image you posted is the exact model i'm after, the twin helm seats and the sink at the front. This particular model is hard to find as they only range from 2005-2006, then they reverted back to the 2 seat set up. Thanks for all the info guys.

    Robalo Boats

Im looking at buying a Robalo r225 and want to know if anyone has any information about this brand, I have not seen many in Australia and would like to know more about them. They seem to be a very well constructed boat. Any feedback would be greatly welcomed.
  6. has so much more time for fishing....love it!

  7. Hi all, Are you able to confirm if Botany Bay has any marine park areas? I wasn't aware of them and I know we voted recently in a poll. Are you able to confirm if the following information is old - http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/info/c...dcr5/botany-bay. If someone can share a map, regulations, and further details I'd appreciate it. Thanks Doggers

    Cruise Craft

“Hi BillyD, you getting rid of the Signature?, my mate has a Cruise Craft Outsider and I would rate the ride of your Signature to be a better, softer and much better overall performer!. They have been referred to as “Bruise” craft because they tend to bang about in a head wind, a much heavier boat than the Signature too. Thats just my 2 cents worth.”
  9. Hey well done. Very nice fish. Would have been excellent fun on such light gear. And thanks for releasing her.
  10. Damn right. Was in Bay the other day and someone pulled a small rat in. He must have kept it and another fisho went off at him. I was cherrin him on for that. There were so many tools out last sunday - no respect what so ever. Anyways, on the water at 5am tomorrow, so will look forward to some good results. doggers Thanks. I certainly don't tire of trying. I'm looking forward to the kingy social. hopefully will learn a thing or two then. fish well.

  13. I guess it would be too much to ask 'where' all this action takes place; or rather, what signs I need to consider where Kings hang out?
  14. Hi all, I am looking for a reliable and cost effective place in the Sutherland Shire to make and fit spray dodgers and recover seats on my 4.5mtr Hobie Power Skiff - see below. Can you advise on likely costs I should expect for this small job also? Thanks in advance, Doggers Please pm with any details - mrsswordfisherman
  15. Thanks Adrian. Sounds like I need to spend more time in the water. What a hassle Any suggestions of location within the Bay? Have heard Bare Island is good for squid, so could start there for fresh bait. Always have reliable plastics on hand. Dave
  16. Well done on your catch. Would have been an exciting 3 hrs. Being somewhat of a novice to kings, can you advise on: 1. Best setup - gear; line/ leader, etc 2. Plastics vs bait (what plastics - eg: 5 inch or 7 inch nuclear chicken; jig heads, rod, reel, etc), and if bait - what's best (eg: live squid vs other). 3. Location - preferably in the bay Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Doggers
