Hey all, Went out yesterday with all the boys...Laurie (the sweeney) , Jase (hookm), Dave (southerly), Dan and Greg (D&G). Was a sensational day! Gathered squid with D&G before Dan left the boat and became lauries deckie. Then when chasing the kingies at one of the harbour markers. Next four hours was mayhem with multiple hook ups on both squid and yakkas. Alot of solid kings landed including my very first kingfish !!! And some even better ones lost. Couldnt have had a better way to start my apprenticeship in catching the kings. Great company, even better times, and alot of sunburn. AWESOME day with the boys!!! First king was a rat, second was a new PB of 73cm. LOOK OUT DANNY BOY!!! Pics to follow. Enjoy. Kell... (D&G+K)
