  1. Looking to buy a tinnie, with motor or without doesn't matter, 3 metres and above, Is anyone selling there tinnie, thankyou
  2. Me and my mate have been planning this trip for about week, hoping the weather would be perfect, the day came and it was raining heavily in the early morning about 5 am , my dad said maybe we should just stay home, but i wasn't buying that, i really wanted to get out there, so i managed to get dad to come along. Got to my mates place, mates dad was commin along too, got to gosford boat ramp, it was high tide at the time, with little rain which was awesome, got the boat in the water then we pounded our way towards paddy's channel, got there real quick, didn't waste any time through the anchor in, we were in the middle of paddy's channel, baited up and casted in, me and my dad were using squid from the local petrol station, the others were using whitebait and prawns, no action for about 30mins, getting a nibble now and then, then yes we started getting alright bites, but dad brang in a small bream, then i brang in a flounder, 1 of my favorite fish, but it was undersized through it back. then it died down for a little, then as i was reeling in the line was heavy the rod was bending down, was not fighting at all, i thought it was seaweed, but as it got to the surface i saw it was a blue swimmer crab, but it let go, damn it was a nice size too. then the spot went completely dead, we stayed the for a while too. so we decided to get some food, so we headed towards woy woy , we tryed bringing in the anchor but it was stuck damn, we saw the two submarine cables and we were right in the middle of them, so we cut the rope, damn it was the only anchor we had in the boat, we went to get somthing fish n chips, then as we were on the ferry wharf i saw someone catch a little yellowtail, i should of asked them if they wanted, cause they through it in the water. alwell me and my mate were fishing of the wharf in hope of catching a yellowtail. but we got bites but nothing. so we left went to the channel marked near the oyster farm, tied the boat onto the channel marker, fished there, everyone was getting bites, landed small bream. my mate brang in a nice flathead, and it was his first fish ever, it was 40 + cm well done to him, then i landed a 28cm whitting i was happy that i caught a keeper, then the big storms were comming close to us, so we decided to call it a day it was around 2 pm so we pounded it back to the boat ramp, it was rough in brisbane waters too. got back to the ramp, it was a good fishing session for me and mate and the others too i think. sorry i forgot to take pictures.
  3. Me and my dad made a last minute decision to go fishing under the train bridge at Gosford, got out in the water at 5:30pm in the boat, drove towards the train bridge straight away parked maybe 10 metres away from the bridge in between those old train bridge bricks, casted out right under the bridge on the right hand side then dad casted out on the other side started getting bites then dad brang in a small bream through it back in, then i brang in a small bream through it back in, then we started getting snags so we went into narara creek it was fairly dark took our time we stopped at the really open channel that leads to another place and other leads to maccas stopped near the corner, casted in started getting nibbles but didnt bring anything in, so dad decided to go to this place near the train bridge it's hard to explain the exact location plus i wanna keep it a bit of a secret, so we went there took our time getting out of narara creek cause its real shallow in some areas we finally got to the destination, through the anchor in and casted out straight away didn't waste any time, the place fired up dads reel went right off he was taking his time to bring it in it was a nice bream about 30cm , then i checked my rod i had something but it didn't really have a fight it was a nice whiting about 27cm then dad had something on his hand reel he brang it in and it was a nice jewie (soapie) exactly 50cm then after that the place just went dead strange but alwell, it was a really really good sunday night fishing for us.
  4. Hello raiders. Last wednesday dad and myself decided to go for a fishing session in the woy woy area, dropped the boat of at gosford wharf at 6:30pm and then we started our adventure to woy woy. We got past point fredrick and i decided to have a look at the bait, i grabbed the old bait silly me, dad wasn't happy so we went back, went to local servo to get some squid it was decent squid so we finally got to woy woy went under the bridge and fished in the shallow area it was around 7:30pm started getting some nibbles then we started bringing in small bream around 12 cm stayed for a little bit didn't get anything big just small bream can't remember how many in total. then we headed to woy woy channel, went to the special tree maybe 50 metres away from the square wharf with the pool thing. and again i brang in a small bream maybe 14 cm then maybe 10 mins later on dad brang in a stingray but we threw it back in this was at the top of the tide too. then they went of the bit later on so we decided to call it a night and head home. overall it was a nice night windy though but had no keepers.
  5. Nice Work Mate, Hopefully i mite be heading out to box head this sunday, for a fishing session.
  6. Last night went out for a fishing session with mom and dad at Woy Woy channel, last minute decision. Dropped the 10ft tinnie at woy woy boat ramp, no hold up which was real Got in the water at around 7:30 pm, travelled up the woy woy channel stopped before the square wharf in the middle of the channel, through in the anchor baited up and casted out, i was using awesome rods the parents were using hand reels haha. 5 mins later got some bites then my dad brang in a nice whiting but it was just undersized Through it back, after that we were getting baited all the time sneaky fish. Brang the anchor in and away we go, we travelled to woy woy bridge went under to the other area don't know what the place is called but yeah, baited up and casted out 5 mins later brang in a nice healthy looking 17 cm bream it didn't wanna give in had a bit of a fight but i won. I through it back in to grow bigger, baited up and casted in again for another try, this time i brang in a 7 cm bream but way to small so through it back in to grow. Parents didn't have any luck in this spot they got bites but were unsuccessful, brang everything in and went to paddy's channel got absolutely nothing parents were getting bites but were unsuccessful. we saw lightning in the distance so we decided to pack up and go back home. Overall it was a good night i enjoyed it and my parents had lots of fun too.
  7. Me and my mate went out for a fish on good Friday, Got in the water at 5:30am at gosford wharf using dads 10ft tinnie, headed for train bridge to go into narara creek i was battling some fairly big waves plus it was the first time i have ever been out in brisbane waters in rough weather well the tinnies bouncy up in down made it to narara creek, was calm from there. Headed towards maccas saw some mullet jumping around like they usually do quickly casted in plus we were using lures cause we had'nt got the bait yet well we had no luck with the lures so we fired up and headed to maccas to get some breakfast and bait. 20 mins later got back into the boat headed to narara ck bridge, casted in using squid as our bait stayed for a bit once again had no luck, fired up and headed to the place were we saw the mullet jumping casted in it was high tide at the time once again no luck, so fired up and headed to the train bridge stayed there for a while got really cold in the boat plus it was raining, maybe hour later went out into brisbane waters wasn't as heavy as it was in the morning headed towards the sailing club casted in getting some small bites mostly little nibbles maybe 15 mins later i was bring my line back in didn't feel like i had anything just as i was about to bring the line in a bream launched at it and i had myself a maybe 15cm bream it was nice looking but threw it back in. Overall it wasn't a good friday for us but i still enjoyed myself and i think my mate had a good time too.
