Totaly agree I hope one day fisheries wake up and ban commercial fishing all together they are so destructive of our fish stocks look what they did with the kingfish and the tuna they take far more than what can reproduce fish farms are the only way to sustain our need for fish and leave the sea alone. -
[ Should try to call sydney aquarium or sydney zoo maybe they can help. Nothing but sweep that,s not always a bad thing king fish like the same water as sweep maybe try a live bait next time.

[i dont care if they go broke hope they do becuase I,m sure they dont care if there are any fish for you or me to catch it,s all about monie with those people it,s time fisheries started looking at the big picture and got rid of as many as they can commercial fishing has a decimated alot of species over the years should never even got near that.

Hope you get lucky taged a couple marlin yesterday out wide thought a bit early for good marlin but that,s fishing you just never know.

Get a square plastic contianer from bunnings or where ever big enough to hold a car battery drill a couple of holes in it and put the rope through the holes and tie it around your waist and away you go. I,ve always caught a lot of prawns around the no moon an up the back of the lake on the run out tide never tried 4 days after the full moon have to give it ago.

Might be a bit late but from my experience of beach fishing, find a good gutter on a beach that is reasably deep and pick up some fresh bait yakkas fresh sqid or some live prawns and fish the run up tide I think the best time is four days before the full moon and four days after anywhere in that period has worked well for me add a little berly into the wash and you should pick up something.
