Why dont u try to do an albright knot to join your braid and leader and then do a uni knot to the swivel and another length of leader via uni knot again after the swivel. dont forget to lubricate the knots before pulling.

Hi,
I'm after a surf rod under 12ft/5-10kg that handles your usual beach species i.e. tailors, salmon etc... . Maximum budget will be $150
Regards,
Jonno
Always look for something light and has a good power at the butt end. Remember your gonna be holding and carrying this most of the time while your fishin.

I think from memory that mono tends to absorb water which makes them weak. As Jewhunter asked, How old is the mono?

Well done! You got your free feed and free bait. Now you need to get more squid to get you $80 back.

Nice kingie for a beefed up bream gear. Good stuff!

The most i ever get on my bait pumps are 12 months max.
Since buying my boat 3 years ago i am on my 4th johnson pump.
I only just had to replace my pump last week and that pump only lasted about 6 months!
If my new pump does not last at least 12 months i will change brands.
Squidking
You should claim it under warranty.

Ill 3rd that, if theres such thing. Better than being fishless.
-
Better to be were you where than working on a weekend like me. Thats fishin, you win some you lose some.
-
Freshwater pump obviously will corrode or detriorate the internals quicker than a pump design for saltwater use and live bait pump would have a high wear and tear turnover than a bilge pump.

Dont worry Jim77. One day he will get caught and the first thing he'll remember is your face until he pays the huge fine. Theres no point of arguing with people that doesnt want to listen. And another thing you dont know what they are capable of doing. Theres alot of crazy people out there that doesnt care about anybody.
Next time just ring up the fisheries. Normally the ph.no. is written on the sign on every boat ramp if you forget the number. Let them do their (fisheries) job as our fishing license goes to their salary.
Tight lines,
JON

Top report mate. Thats the good thing up there, Most of the spots holds fish and theres always plan b and plan b normally works not like down here in Sydney.
Thats a good experience to that parasailing. They pick u up from the tall ship and take your money too.
