  1. There is one at tsuen wan they have some of Varivs line and leader also some Jigging staff. not sure 1005 sure the address but is on Castle Peak rd neat tsuen wan garden hope you find it.
  2. You can try 10 half hitch on the knot it's really strong.
  3. I might been 3 weeks ago since the current change the kings moved on some where.....hopefully they are back now.....
  4. Due to the current change a lots of kings moved on somewhere.... try to jig for them 1 weeks ago there was nothing there but "Jackets"..
  5. Btw Jig Master and Jigging Master they are 2 different company that make jigging rod.
  6. Have a look at the this is the proper version of JM reel. http://www.youtube.com/user/jundatow#p/a/u/0/B_9UabL56KQ
  7. Yea i also upgrade the JM Docking to increase the drag!
  8. Well all I can say is that 4:1 is the best jigging ratio, also you need something that have smooth drag. I mean if you going to spend $300 you might as well spend a little but more to get a good one. I personally like the Accurate reels also the JM reels they are really good for Jigging in the deep or shallow. My reels all have been pimp up by Jigging Master in Taiwan. Accurate 665N Accurate 870N Jigging Master PE
  9. I have came back from WA for about 2 weeks now. Went to WA just for some Jigging for Sambo. This is the link for my video at WA and some picture as well. Enjoy!
  10. You can also upgrade to a jigging master handle. They are around 50-80 depend where you can get it from.
  11. I am in to Jigging myself, Well for start up what kind of set up do you want to use e.g overhead or spin? I have 2 set up myself. I mean it's better to spend a bit more money on the good set up then buying a mid range set up then upgrade it later. 1. rod: Jigging Master Custom Rod 400g Reel: Accurate 665N With docking also T-bar handle Line:70lb YGK 2. Rod:Jigging Master Custom Rod 150g Reel: Accurate 870N with docking also T-bar handle Line: 20lb Powerpro some advise for you is that overhead it's much easier to get the fish up and useless power when you fight the fish, <400 rod you can find in the market it's the Tcurve Jig or even cheaper ones like Jig Wex , Monster Mesh they will do the trick as well. But reel you will want something that has power and can hold a lots of line if you want to jig in the deep. Around that price mark that you are talking about you have a few choice for spining reel CATALINA 6500 - it's got 30kg or drag it's more then you need to jig for a fish. Certate 3500HD - it's got heaps less line Capacity it's only good for jigging off sydney. Saltiga overhead - it's a little higher in price. Hope it helps

    Sp Rod

You can try the raider rod they are not bad for it's price!
  13. IS THAT A JIGGING MASTER ROD? THAT YOU HAVE THERE THE BLUE ONE!
  14. 30 lb should be fine but you will need a trace maybe from 60lb to 80lb depends on where you fish at. You will also been needing a rod which can hold from 4-8 kg. if you wish to use a lighter gear which you can i'll say 15lb with 40 lb trace with rod rated from 3-5kg. Squid you can get them off the rocks if you do rock fishing, otherwise all the jetty should hold good squid, best time for squid 2 days before full moon 1 hr before high tide, at 5-7pm. is your best time to get the biggest squid. also some times low tides works fine as well.
  15. Just wondering if anyone have seen this reel anywhere in Australia ?? pro gear oceanus 30 - I am thinking to buy this reel but can't really find it in the tackle store ?
