Thanks Guys, the other option is to get rid of it as it is getting old and taking it out doesn't seem to be much fun anymore! Don't get me wrong I still love my wife but sometimes you have to sacrifice things you love in order to go fishing! HAHAHA.

Can someone please assist? After the birth of my new son (and the fact that the wife has firmly applied the hand brake! ) I am finding that if I don't turn the steering wheel on my tinnie after a few days it starts to cease due to the lack of use. What can be done to avoid the steering ceasing completely whilst it is laid up for a few weeks / months?

Thanks Huey I will have a good look on the weekend. The prop is new but this is due to the damage caused by my previous mechanic not tightning a bolt. When I took my boat out after a service the bolt directly above the prop fell out and the prop smashed into it causing massive damage to the prop and motor. Not sure if there was any damage internally but the trusty mechanic told me there wasn't. The engine is a 2 stroke 50hp injected.

Can somebody tell me if the grase leaking from the prop area is a major concern or could it be that the damn thing has been sitting in yard too long as the wife has applied the handbrake?
