Hey raiders, Am wondering if all of this rain will spark a wet season here in Sydney ... I am anticipating that a wet season may ignite chance of landing a a few sweep. A nice one I landed at the entrance to a tidal estuary provided a good entre sized meal a few weeks ago.

Hey guys Im up at Scotland Island for a few days and catching plenty of squid.. i have a vague idea of where the supermarket put not 100% sure exactly. I was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me or send me GPS Points for it?? Urgent help would be much appreciated.. Ed

Thanks mate, Ended up getting plenty of yellowtail and Smileys. I tell u what there are plenty of those annoying baby Leather Jackets around, must be breeding season or something, they were even taking my rapala when i was trolling.. annoying things! All round prefect weather but no fish to speak of.

Hey guys, i have come up to my holiday house at scotalnd island for a big weekend of fishing. Just wondering if there is any paelagics biting at the moment? kings, bonnies, salmon etc. and if they are taking lures or livebait. Also is West Head holding livies? Cheers guys

Hey guys i have heard of cobia being caught in pittwater, just wondering if anyone knows of any being caught?

yeah u cant really make a judgment this early, anyway it will be a great event regardless,hopfully the weather will be great too. and i have heard of a few jewies showing up so hopfull the will be on the bite! I AM DEFINATELY IN!!

hey sammy and welcome! yeah go to west head for live bait! then drop then down anywhere from there to flint and steele or barrenjoey, may come accross some rampaging kingies or salmon if ur lucky! even a jew from flint! trolling in pittwater can be quite rewarding lots of tailor and salmon are one the bite from time to time 2. and kingies are in pittwater to feed so there is a chance for one of them 2! use rapala lures in pittwater, rapala magnums! good luck

Hey guys i have heard so much about the supermarket and tomahawk wrecks in pittwater but have no idea where they are, im on scotland island and would love to find these places as i have heard they produce the odd kings, any help would be much appreciated!!! thanks guys

left from northbridge 6am last thursday, went straight out to north head with freh squid from the markets, hoping to catch some kings or other paelagics. within 10 ,ims of dropping anchor, hooked up tp a 15kg port jackson shark which was released, straight after that, hooke up to a 4kg groper which was released to. surface fish were working but we did not go for them. we went over to south head where nothing changed. caught 5 more port jacksons all over 10kg. put up no fight at all. also caught a number of leatherjackets, rock cod and a few yellowtail and pike, Everything was released. great days fishing but not the fish we were hoping for. tight lines guys

Hey fellow fishos, i am doing my friday fishing routine, heading up to my scotland island holiday house and going fishing from my bertram in pittwater all friday. went out 2 weeks ago and caught a few big tailor and a nice big salmon. Can anyone tell me if anything is around or biting. are the kingies on the bite or have they gone. also last time i was there i went to west head for live bait without success but could not get in too close as my boat is quite large and the swell was up. does anyone know of any areas i can get livies where it is accessable by a big boat? cheers guys (and girls) eddie

i dont eat fish but my friend does he said if u cook it fresh they are pretty good

i was using rapala magums. 1x red head, 1x blue and black pilchard looking 1x slimy mackerel colour. fishoutta water at manly vale is selling 3 for $50. great buy

hey guys, went out on bertram last friday morning. trolled from scotland island to barrenjoey with 1X 35cm tailor. went to wesat head burlied up majorly for no live bait, not even a bite was very dissapointed!!! could not get close enough to the rocks as i have a 25 ft boat and there was a little bit of a swell. after that we trolled abck down to scotland island where my holiday house is and got a triple hookup, these 2 tailor and 1 salmon. then on the final strech back to the house nailed another salmon. whilst waiting for the water taxi to pick us up from my wharf, we jigged for squid and caught 1 baby and 1 massive 50cm squid. noticed there were 4 more with the one i caught but did not take the jig. all in all a pretty good day and i will be going back again this friday. cheers ed

i am going to pittwater this avo for the weekend and out usual place for fresh squid is brooklyn but they have not got any for 2 weeks and only have 2 week old squid which i am not gertting! can anyone please tell me where to buy fresh squid. if u dont want to share the information with everyone then private msg me. cheers guys ed

hey people, i was wondering if there is much live bait around at the moment in pittwater such as slimies, yellowtail or squid? i have heard west head is the spot to go. can anyone give me some advice. cheers ed
