    1 Kw Or 2kw

    hi all I'm setting up a new furuno navnet vx2 system and was wondering how much of a difference there is between a 1kw transducer and a 2kw. Is it worth spending the extra money or is the 1kw going to do the job fine, i'm looking for bottom at around 400 to 500m any feedback would be much appreciated thanks.
