Any fellow Raiders recommend a place to hire boats for use in the Hawkesbury / Pittwater area? We have boat licences and would possibly be looking for one that lets us have it overnight. 20hp+ and canopy... Other than the obvious Boab?

Any one got any tips for catching a couple of squid on the Northern side of Sydney. I have bought the jigs, set up a rod, read the articles on here and am keen to have a go. I have a few locations in mind when out on the boat but wondering if any one has any land based spots they recommend? Possibly lit up at night? Thanks for any ideas! PM me if you'd prefer. Andy.

yeah, big thanks to the organisers Donna, Stu etc. Thanks to Greg for his advice and tips regarding soft plastics. This was the first fishraiders thing I've been to and you guys are a great bunch of people. Cheers Breamhunter for taking us out on the Quinny for a few hours and Thanks Pmak for both the pic of my biggest SP Lizard to date as well as the camo worms to catch him on!!!! If I can work out how to post that pic ..... I will!

I've used them in the pearl colour and have caught fish on them.

Caught a few of these around 36cm in Sydney Harbour on the weekend. Not that keen on eating them so released them all. .... but are they any good as bait using the fillets?

I live nearby and haven't seen anyone everfish in there. When its open at low tide you can jump the trickle of water that remains!

I'd love to learn more on Sp's as have started using them more due to borrowing a Kayak. If there is room anywhere I'm keen for sure! Thanks, Andy.

Not 100% sure how this works as I have just joined today and this is my first post!.... but I'd love to come out and fish for Kingies if there is a free spot anywhere! Got my own gear but have only ever caught the odd Kingie off the rocks. No boat. Cheers, Andy.
