Hi all,just a quick report.Hit Botany at about 10pm thursday night in chase for a couple of jewies,though it was pretty quiet.Fished the run out with nothing but a few lost baits which was very frustrating and started to lose hope in catching a feed as we were running out of time.So decided to change positions for the change of the tide for the last hope of catching something in the last 2hrs of our trip,and within 10minutes of being at the new spot my rod buckles over and the okuma V-system goes for a short scream,with a 60cm schoolie landed in the boat.I was satisfied for the night. Headed out again last night for zilch

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL FISHRAIDERS Just a quick post Went out fishing at the Entrance last week,with my little cousin chasing flathead using live little poddies. The water was running out so headed down to our favourite spot at about 6pm and we both threw a poddy out,we managed to get 18 flatties and kept 10 the first night. The next day we headed down to get a few more at the same time,we ended up with 14keepers and threw back 5 undersize ones. The next 2nights were very quiet on the flatties though there were many undersize tailor around smashing the schools of whitebait. Here are a few pics of our catch.

Going to eat those ones going back up there tomo so im going to go get a few more and throw them in a tank with an air-rater to keep them alive for bait

Hey guys Happy New Year to ALL! Just a quick post,went out for a fish at the Entrance last week,got to the boat ramp at about 10pm and headed to our usual spot. The tide was running out so we got set up and put our prawning lights out and started to get a few prawns.I left my little cousin prawning while I decided to throw a live prawn out to see what was biting,was getting heaps of little bites,which were whiting trying to suck the prawn into there mouth,striked many times though ended up getting baited as the prawn would get pulled off the hook as they were unable to swallow all the prawn,due to such a small mouth. We ended up with a few keepers 5whiting, 1 bream, and about 2kg of prawns,so called it a night and ended up going home at 7pm for some sleep. Here are a few pics off my phone.

This is my first post,long time reader first time user.Headed out wide off Terrigal with Scotty on a fishn trip on 7/12/08 to chase a few kingies and reds,the kings were very quiet on the jigs as only one was caught on a jig.We managed to get ourselves a few livies and hooked up to another 4 kingies,then came in closer and anchored up for a few reds,managed a few though kept getn bitten off by jackets.Biggest kingy was 97cm and a 52cm red. sorry for a short post and any errors
