Well done on the marlin were u fishing out of Sydney? Heard a few reports out of Port Stephens but not really out of Sydney Congrats again Aqua Monster

Hi Thommo I have had the pleasure of fishing Bendalong for over 30 years It is a great Snapper spot We have had best success either off the front of "Rocky Bay" - which is at the southern end of Inyadda beach or up off Berrara There are a number of bommies up there and anchoring off the on the gravel and fishing a burley trail seems to get the best results No shortage of tailor, salmon and sometimes kings trolling close to shore from the boat ramp all the wal to Rocky Bay Also plenty of flathead out the front of green island Good squid fishing off the weed beds out the front of the boat ramp Enjoy your trip and good luck Hope this has been of help to you Aqua Monster

Thanks for the reply Sam I heard a report on the grapevine that a boat came in on Wednesday with 3 flags flying I was told 2 stripes and a blue Not sure where they were caught tho... Promising numbers for this time of year Interested to hear any other reports Aqua Monster

Hi Flatiemad I reckon live squid is pretty hard to beat for a king Alisdair had the right idea with bare island I have caught plenty of good live bait sized squid from the foreshore as well as off the island on the inside of it - facing back to shore From a boat I have caught stacks in the shallows where the foreshore meets the beach on the eastern side Hope you catch heaps Aqua Monster

Hey Wondering if anyone has heard any reports of Marlin as yet from Port Stephens? Did a trip to the Allmark Mountain a few weeks ago for half a dozen reasonable Kings, fun, but not the same as chasing Marlin... Looks like some real good water coming down... hopefully won't be sittin in the lounge room wishin for too much longer Aqua Monster
