Took the new 445 HT out on the Nepean to run in the motor. I am sooo happy with this boat !!!! ...it fangs along.... the Dealer I bought it from took it out and adjusted it and it really does hummmmm... so one very happy fella !!!!

Nice fish Byron...I bet it felt like you hooked onto a train. I love that adrenalin rush.

Hey Ken, I like the feel of the Inter. line. I also have the Lefty floating in an WF8 Im really happy with that line also.

Thanks Adamj, yeh slept but I was up before the sun this morning, had to clear the garage to house the boat...now I will have to have a garage sale. Why do we hoard so much stuff that we just might use 'one day'. cheers mate

Finally picked up my new boat (445 Hornet).!.!. now I can maybe meet few of you guys sometime. Looking fwd to playing with it tommorrow and running in the motor. The family business I bought the boat from where excellent! I uploaded a pic in members boats.(still finding my way around) Have a good week end!

Bluecod, I have a WF floating line I use wading sandflats but after I get the new boat will be going after the salmon kings etc. on fly. Been in the backyard pool counting sink rates for my flies and looking at maybe getting a 300 or 350ips as well. I guess the quality of the top brands are pretty close? Not sure. Fly lines are a bit expensive to buy and try and find out you dont really like it. [i got caught once, a few years ago I purchased a flyline for trout recommended from a salesperson in a fly shop and it was absolute crap]. Looking forward to a day casting course next month, hoping to improve the technique.

Looking at purchasing an intermediate sinking fly line for salt/w. I would like to hear your preferences and if you have used or prefer a sink tip line? For use off a boat mainly.

Hi , going up to Malooloobah area for a week in last week Sept. Alexander Headland ? never stayed there before. Has anyone ever had a chance to flyfish around this area? Any info is welcome.
