Hitting the hump for the first time on sunday, I cant wait. just did a search for a gps position and Ive got a few and I dont know which ones are correct or if all are correct 34.13.667, 151.07.045 or 34.13.850, 151.04.460 Any tips for fishing the area, what been working, Ive got some 7inch jerk shads ill give that a go Any help would be great Cheers Dave

I had the pleasure of taking my 2.5 yr old out for her first fish, she had fun for a while but you know kids, I enjoyed just having her with me. Anyway, it was slow 2 fish in 3 hrs, try again next time. Dave

Thanks Trapper t Thats a great photo, he is a big boy, I think I would have crapped myself too. When I first got to shady the tide was out, and on the other side of the bank there were some crocs sunning themselves, being young and dumb we crossed the little bridge thing separating the fresh and salt water and started hunting the crocs to get a good photo. How dumb, anyway suprisingly they were scared of us and scampered into the water. There were least 8 to 10 of them. That night, on the fresh water side we counted 32 crocs in and around the boat ramp, we just shone a torch and could see their eyes. At that time we had consumed some bevys from the esky (ok more than some) we made our way down to the bridge or barrage and starting throwing rocks at the crocs, it was funny at the time, the stupid and dangourous thing is, the crocs were right there at the same level as we were. I love that part of OZ Bigdog

Hey Tom I love shady camp, I travelled there in 2000. I didn't fish, just played with the crocs I get excited just thinking about that place. Great fish by the way Did you see lots of crocs

I dont think premium to good for the older motors either, I run a 2000 85hp yamaha, ive been told to run the standard unleaded

I dont what to admit this, but once i drop a boat by not straping the boat to the trailer. I had to travel 250m from the boat ramp, WHAT AN IDIOT Always strap the old girl down and the boat as well
