  1. Hi again Arman, We have been busy with having to look for and move house in the last few months, so we haven't had much time for any fishing plus Lyn has just changed work locations and has had to train all new staff which has really put a strain on her lately. I had to make her take a couple of days to recover, but all is well now. Once again, well done Reece, and give him a big Hi Five for us both, Arman.
  2. G'day cheezndave, I have had some pretty good results on the dollies by trolling lures past the fads, hard body deep divers about 14 to 18cm. The dollies will normally hit them for the first few passes then they wise up. Thats when I change to baits, either livies of pillies, and usually manage a good result.
  3. Hey Arman, Brian and Lyn from BBSFC out of the boat WETPATCH here, top catch and release for the young fella. Hope you are proud of his effort, or did he show dad just how to play and land a great fish??!!!
  4. Sounds like you enjoyed your first night session on the bream I fish the Hawkesbury of a night on the run in tide out of my boat regularly with the same set up and home made pudding baits mudcrab1
  5. Nice couple of fish to lose your (Kingie ) Cherry. When you go after them again, I'm guessing you will!!, take an eggbeater and some 4" poppers and have a go with them. MAKE SURE YOU HANG ON!!!! Regards, Mudcrab1
  6. Hi Bluewater 5.5 sorry i haven't repliedbefore now, been busy with work. got the dollies on lures and baits. Lures worked on the first three runs, then they got smart so we had to switch tactics and go to the baits. IF you can get live slimies they are the gun bait for the bigger fish(20KG +) Good Fishin' Mudcrab1
  7. Got out to the fad off swr on thursday last, took a couple of blokes for their first ever run on the dolphinfish. Got smashed up on 15kg about 8 times then started to make some inroads on smaller fish. Got 14 between the three of us for the day before the tide and the river bar dictated that we had to return. Dollies were averaging about 4kg, so we were having some good fun out there. I got out the 4kg rig and decided to get some practice in. Got 4 fish from 3 to 4 kg, so that did me for the day, I went home happy. Will download pics soon.
  8. Hey Rob, Brian, formerly of BBSFC here, owns the boat named Wetpatch. Great kingie, always feels good for the first one on the board great job mate.
  9. Hi Raiders, New kid on the block here!! Just like to know if there have been any decent captures up NB or CH over the last few weeks?? We are heading up there this Wed 21st, would be grateful for any info on the area. Regards, Mudcrab1
