Hey all,

This weekend i am heading up somewhwere along the central coast with the family, and i will targeting jewfish from the beach,

or under a fishy looking bridge if i can find one.

Just wondering what is the best bait to stock up on, i was thinking tailor or yellowtails. and was wondering if these baits go

better as live bait or fillets?

cheers

Davy.

mate for butterflying, place the fish, (tailer, yakka, slimey) on the copping board and run the knife alonge the back bone fromt he tail to the head on both sides and snap off the back bone/tail leaving the head and two fillets attched, run a 7/0 or 8/0 through the head of the bait and a stinger through one of the fillets!
