Botany Bay... Sat 6/5/06 Awesome Day Plenty Of Fish

hey raiders,

well another weekend has passed, and yet another saturday was had fishing for me

hit the cooks river ramp at 5 and plans like usual was to hit the bait grounds and stock up for livies and then go to moll point and deploy them for kings...

hmmmmmmm well this dndt quite happen..

the 1st hr of the morning was spent trying to get the fricken anchor to hold as the bait grounds were an absolute car park,

the livies wernt out to play as 2 or so hours passed i only managed to snag 4 livies, quite dissapointing,

seen the boys seajay and crazedfisherdude out there plus pastime, i thnk every1 was annoyed that the livies dndt want to play... anyways after wasting half the morning i put out the 4 livies i had for NO touches,

home and bed was sounding good right about now but in true fisherman style myself and adam kicked on and said F+++ the kings lets go chase trevs and bream, headed over to "my bream" spot and got 3 keepers on my special dough mixture that crazed and sammy later sampled, and also landed a fat flattie at 45cms, a change was need so i headed to the runways anchored up and gotta nice berley trail happining,

after 20 or so mins the trevs moved in 1 after another after another, we caught and releasd SO SO SO many

it was realy nuts as to the amount of fish myself and adam got stuck into,

the hours past and boredness or tiredness just wasnt an issue anymore haha time flew and in the arvo we where met by sammy chris and his gf nicole plenty of laughs and still a few fish caught also big thanks to CFD chris for topping me up on bait as i was short, cheers mate,

all fish were caught on prawns and strips of pillies and my special "smelly dough"

we ended up taking home 1 flattie 3 bream and 18 trevs mostly avrgd 30-37cms

top day was had and gr8 company out on the water,

lets hope thngs stay the same and dont slow dwn seeing winters upon us,

i was packing up for the day and had a fair bit left over,

so i decided to role a bit up in a few nice golf ball sized,

and startd hurling them at chris hehe bit of fun was had

as last time out there chris and sammy loaded my boat with pillies hehe

all good fun

man i couldnt stop laughing that day, sammy was nearly crying when the pillies made that "splat" sound on your motor

Sure was a great days fishin........ just a couple of things

1)who was pumpin the burley trail?

2)and who did most of the throwin of ur "smelly shit"?

but overall was pretty good day cnt believe how quick we got ready nite b4.

and chris.......STOP TRYING TO CATCH EVERYTHING I THROW AT YOU AND LET IT HIT YOU JUST ONCE PLEASE!!!!lol

Those trevs give you a good fight on light gear i got into them on sunday at molly point, i had a livie out the whole time waiting for a king i ended up releasing the livie in as good condition as i caught it, was a little dissapointing.

Congrats mate we will have to get out soon, i am sure there has got to be a couple of kings hidding out there still waiting for us!!!!! Here's hoping anyway!!!!!
