New Reel

Hi all,

Whilst out on company business, i had to call into a tackle shop - not one i use but......hey...

Anyway i am looking for a reel that can be used for kings,jews etc & the guy recommended a Penn Applause 8000

Can anyone give me feed back on this reel or a comparative (looking around $180 at the MOST)

mate i got that penn reel your asking about and yes its a good reel but i would 100% buy a shimano 6500 btr seriously awsome reel and can really handle the pressure, if you wanna pm i can get these reels at a great price and your from my area so i might be able to help you.
