Georges Surprise

I went out luring on the Georges River on Sunday afternoon. Tried the Burkely Gulp ragworm for the first time for just one slightly undersized bream and a few hits. The other lures got no hits at al so I was quite impressed.

The surprise I got was at the Moons at Lurgano late in the afternoon. While fishing I saw a bit of commotion on the surface a few times. I forgot all about it and as motored off and it happened again, but this time I was in postion to see a sea turtle take a breath from the surface! I have no idea what it was doing that far up river. The water was quite cold too at 15 C.
