keenas Posted June 25, 2006 Share Posted June 25, 2006 (edited) AND IT DIDN'T; Headed out wednesday morn, the flat boat battery at the ramp should have been a sign.Caught good size livies at balmoral and headed out to favourite spot.Again wind and current were bum about but continued fishing. Within 1hr the wind had changed directions 3 times and had to re-pick twice, rain was relentless.Every sea bird between me and N.Z. was behind the boat playing with my floating baits and the bottom was barren, by 9.30 i'd had enough; Mothernature was protecting the redis[.The 3 fish traps set in area may have something to do with it??]Any way it still beats the alternative; ANYTHINGELSE. What a diference 7 days makes .
