Nth Beaches - Sambo's

Hi all,

Hit Dee Why beach early this morning at sunrise and had a ball catching and releasing quality salmon...It took about half hour to locate the fish which were hanging out on the side of a gutter with a rip running through it......To cast into where the fish were located meant I had to wade out into the surging surf which made for some fun moments when trying to hull out a fat sambo running circles in the shallows when hooked....

There is something magical about standing knee deep in the raging surf at sunrise on a winters morning waiting for that thud of a raging Aussie salmon....
