jjsydney
Hi All I have just watched the new strike zone and Dan's DVD and it occurs to me that rather than just the headlands there is a large number of larger fish productive reefs off Sydney. I have marks for a small number of the better known ones. HOWEVER this season I was thinking about some slow trolling inshore been Sydney and barrenjoey looking for reefs. Is there a chart/calcuation on how wide a beam your transducer will throw in a range of deapths. Eg using my GPS I was thinking of running laps between the heads and longy to find a big kingy home. Any ideas would be good. JOn
shooter
With a 50deg transducer, the width of the bottom shown on the sounder is roughly 1/3 of the depth
