Heath Posted October 15, 2004 Share Posted October 15, 2004 Up here, we have no choice but to cross a bar. Comming from Sydney it was a BIG change. One of the most important things is learning to read the water. This will basically let you know where the deep water is, essential for safe crossings that is. All the reading in world fails in comparison to actually doing it. A good way to see how the guys do it, is to sit on an advantage point & watch em go out, watch where they run.
