wrasseman
Hi all, At present I am in need of some decent photos of some squid. After a couple of failed attemptsat getting photogenic subjects more locally I decided to bite the bullet on saturday and head down to my old study site on the east coast. Unfortunately as I suspected I was a little early in the season and as I had to be at work at 4:30pm 2hrs away, I didn't even get to fish the prime dusk period. Consequently I got zip. The highlight was playing about with some toothbrush leatherjackets which were attacking my squid jig but which proved impossible to hook on anything I threw at them. Also had a visit from a friendly local as I packed up to leave. Nevertheless I reaquainted myself with a lovely part of the state and had a nice drive. After this poor showing though I had to duck out for a quick sesh this arvo after work and managed one tiny trout from a stream near work. Cheers Col.
