Bream Mad
Hi Raiders, Arrived out the back of the hospital about 3 pm and the shallow flats certainly looked the goods, top of the tide and slighty murky water Tied on a 3" camo worm on a #6 1/20 oz jig and first cast it was absolutely monstered by a mega whiting that actually took some drag The fish were just going nuts for the worms, multiple strikes on each cast was common, however hookups were harder to acheive, ratio probably (10:1). After a couple more smaller whiting i changed to that bream classic, a 3" bass minnow in watermelon. Once again instant hits but felt pretty small and no hookups. Then as i hoped the lure back to my feet a little bream just nailed it!! Only a small fellow but my first bream on SP just the same, stoked Cheers BM
crystalliser
Sounds like a fun session mate, well done! Pity about the conversion ratio but that's fishing. Try juggling around a size 6 and 4 and compare the results, sometimes it might be flattie bites as they usually scoff down the whole placcy. You should now change your nick to Bream Madder! wrasseman
Sounds like an action packed session. Those harbour bays seem to be really firing ATM, hopefully still will be in a few weeks. Well done on the first too. Cheers Col.
