OWZAT Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 G`day Fellas , A home care Nurse , who for some time , had been attending an aged patient we shall call Alf , having fullfilled his needs for , for two weeks straight , you know the sort of thing , washing wounds , replacing bandages , arranging medicines , etc , etc , finaly succumbed to her curiosity as to why he had so many pecan nuts loose in a bowl on the dressing table. Alf assured her that he didn`t actually eat the nuts and as such , she was more than welcome to take them home with her , which she did , having a pasion for the Nuts , as did her hubby and three small children . Within a week , the bowl was full to the brim again , and once more Alf placed all the nuts in a clear plastic bag and encouraged her to take the Nuts home with her , which she did once again . Some three weeks later , the Nurse `s curiosity finally got the best of her and so asked her Patient , “ Hey Alf , why is it you keep buying so many nuts , when you have no “ teeth “ , and can`t eat them ?. “ Oh well “ , Replied Alf matter of factly , “ I only Buy em for the Chocolate ! .
