tuffy
Hey all, welcome to Monday. Went out yesterday morning, launched at Tunks and on the water by 6.30. Harbour entrance was like glass. Did my usual spots, Dobroyd, Quarantine and around there for no joy. By about 9.30 the wind started to come up so over to Clifton Gdns to get out of the breeze. Not there 5 minutes on a gentle drift and rod #1 starts quivering. Up came my PB lizard at 60cms and into the net. Swallowed a nice strip of squid. Very exciting on 4kg line!! I thought this is good, no one else around.........next minute there was about 9 boats around. All you guys fishin near the heads must have had the same thought as me. About 30 mins later other rod goes off and another good lizard which went about 50cms ( Spat the hook as soon as I netted the bugger - lucky or what. Over then to the Spit bridge for about an hour or so - result 1 Shovel nose shark and a Flying Gurnard of all things. Home by 2, boat washed and first beer by 3. Good day out apart from the wind. Flattieman
Ahh... I love a PB! 60cms is a very good fiush, Tuffy and I'm sure they'll keep getting bigger. Well done. Flattieman.
