varos1911
I would like to know where i can find some good sea weed for blackfish ? I remember when i was a kid we use to get it down at Scarborough Park at Kogarah!
Yoda
concentrate your search on areas close to sewerage outfalls for stringy weed, for cabbage weed you need to search the ocean rocks at low tide.
Guest IFishSick.
I've found some in little streams running indirectly into Botany Bay. There is one spot at a golf course where I've seen people gathering it. Free and convenient what more could you want? Edited October 25, 2006 by IFishSick. Bashir
The best weed is found on the ocean rocks, it normally goes very quickly so if you find some, keep it to yourself.

Guest DV8
Where abouts is the Golf course? Depends on where you are fishing for blackfish. the blackfish at each spot are usually very specific in whatthey are eating. Some of the weed I have seen successful i wouldn't have used for burley. You basically need to ask the locals or you don't really stand a chance of catching blackfish (in numbers anyway). Just be friendly.
