Bass

Fished the Nepaen on the Saturday of the long weekend. It was my first fishing trip in a while as I have had a lot of projects keeping me busy. It had been so long the Boat battery was flat. but I kept cool did the bait n switch with the car and away I went. There were lots of other boats out including my mate Rich P. He already had a nice bass on a spinnerbait and we both headed up river into the Gorge. I was keen to use a weedless presentation and was happy to slowly pepper any lilely spots. After 2 small fish I got a nice 30 ish cm Bass, but with the fishing slow I headed back towards the ramp. Had a little purple patch and nailed three fish in a 20m stretch the biggest in the late 30's, just as Rich P, and Andy came over to say G'day in a new skeeter, which looks an awesome fishing machine.
