Methodman Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 Hey guys, I was wondering who services there own 4 strokes? Ive got a 115 Merc 4 Stroke and was thinking of doing my own service. How much is in a service on a 4 stroke and do u actually save money? What needs replacing? Oil Filter? Plugs? Oil? what else? namesay Posted November 3, 2006 Share Posted November 3, 2006 I just pay for service but you will need to change the water impeller and timing belts as well. My annual service costs about $400!!!
