Fished Sat and Sun mornings for a nice feed of reddies, mowies and flatties. We fished reef at 150ft and sand at around 90ft with baits and soft plastics. Aside from the good feed we also caught a red gurnard, sargeant bakers, red rockies, nannygai, wrasse and a lone slimy. A great day out on the water and my brother ended up winning the deep sea comp at the local pub fishing club. Here's a pic of him with a mowie.

very nice fish! That fishing comp you referred to, were they down at Shell harbour pub? I saw a whole bunch of fishos doing a weigh in around a bbq.

I was with my :wife: having lunch at the fish&chip shop and i was trying to peer to have a look at what they caught hehehe

It was gerringong pub (cronins)
