Anyone from fishraider own a stabicraft ?

I went out in one a few months ago on a charter

and was impressed with the ride and comfort,

although they are ugly as a hatfull of :ranting2: holes

for a tinnie fisherman they sort of appeal.

P.S. second hand stabi's are rare as rocking horse crap

so i'll probably have to go new.

any advice would be helpful

They aren't just ugly as a hatfull of @^#%holes, they are far uglier!! If you are after a comfortable ride in a tinnie then you should have a look at the Noble super vees. I had the same issues when I wanted a new boat. My love of tinnies is the cause of the pain in my neck ---from all the pounding from them over the years.

But the super vee has a ride better even than most glass fiber boats. If you have ever seen the Berkely off shore DVD, this is the boat they are in. CHeers Kelvin

Keenas.

I have just been through what you are experiencing, all I wanted for Christmas was a Stabi :074:

Forget about how they look, you aren't buying it to show up at Hair Expo! They are a great stable boat through out the range.

Yes they are rare as second hand, but that has to tell you something?

I would go the 559 if your budget streches to it, you will get a boat a little longer but with more features.

Beware the Stabi dealer, they know people want to get into a Stabi and will not budge a dollar on price, which incedentely cost them my puchase, and I mean a dollar

I hope you get into one they are great boats....

Robbie.

I have been looking at nobles, they definetly are better

looking and i've heard they ride well but are a bit exxy

for what i require (light offshore ) could be a bit of an

overkill. do you have one kelvin ? if so what size
