costello
Hi Raiders. I was fishing Middle Harbour on Monday trying to suss out some Squid ground's and i noticed alot of dark patches around Chinamans beach that looked ideal for squid, yet came up empty. Apologies if i'm exposing someone's secret location. I'm curious to know if anyone's tried and had any luck around there for squid. Do squid prefer kelpi shore lines or weed beds in open water? Cheers, Mark Edited December 6, 2006 by costa

costello
maybe its your jig? what jigs were you using? CFD Mate funny that, i left my good jigs in my tackle box at home. Used my dodgy's i had in the side rails of my boat, thought i still might get something though. Cheers, Marl
Jewhunter
It's not a noted squid spot. You may get the odd one but there are heaps of better spots close by. Cheers, Grant.
