domza
doesn't matter on the size of the engine, it matters on how fast you go. 10knots maximum withOUT a licence -between sunrise and sunset.

squizzytaylor
Its always annoyed me that, any idiot (and there are lots of them) can get into a 15tonne 50foot cruiser and just go for it, no licences no experience and no bloody idea. Guest rzep
Its always annoyed me that, any idiot (and there are lots of them) can get into a 15tonne 50foot cruiser and just go for it Yeah I totally agree Squizzy. I think that the licenseing requirements need to be looked at and reviewed. Edited December 9, 2006 by rzep
Guest rzep
They have been reviewed and now you need to take a course to get your license and not before time. I am aware that they have made that change Stewie but that still does not stop someone skippering a vessel at a speed of under 10 knotts and still not being licensed as far as I am aware.
