Sunday Off Sydney Heads

Left Waverton at 6am Sunday morning with a hung over deckie, Christmas party the night before, who shaped up an hour or 2 and who had the audacity to catch the only keep able fish - 4 good size lizards. Set off for Long Reef wide but a bit of wind and bit choppy so change of plans and went to colours south of the gap. Caught 4 good flatties, and lots of smaller ones on a fast drift. Some leather jackets caught. We lost a few rigs which were probably bitten of by the jackets, @#!$#^!$. Then did a trawl along the gap to south head on the way home; one taker. Don’t know what it was but not landed as snap swivel straightened and fish lost.
