Guest DV8
Brisbane waters at dawn is a sure fire bet as long as there is no wind. I regularly get over 10 and that is fishing with my four year old who cant keep a bait in the water for more than five minutes. The trick is to be there at dawn, when there is no wind, and the crabs will hang on all the way to the top. Once the wind and sun are up they willl still take the bait but let go on the way to the top. I am usually back home by 830 am. Also avoid fishing in current as this also makes it hard to raise them. Good luck Davo
Davemmm
As far as Botany Bay goes theres crabs on the flats near the logs at Kurnell but not as many as there could be. There are some to be had near the mouth of Kogarah bay out from the motor boat club. The talk is the best bet being the south end of Towra near Carter Island from the edge of the flats out into the channel. Good luck and let us know Dave
