Goldenfisho
jusr wondering if there are any slimies holding on the reef grounds inside briken bay eg west head, box head?
namesay
Slimies tend to be a bit hit and miss unlike yakkas. But the best way is to sound around and find some schools before fishing for them. West head, barrenjoey are good spots to try. SHould be turning up in good numbers now. CHeers Kelvin

Guest Big-Banana
Ive caught them jigging on Boultons. I'd stay away from west head though. I still haven't caught a slimy there.
Guest johblow
I have noticed that there are a lot of garfish in pittwater and also other parts near there. I caught some to keep as livies but they dont last long. Better handling and a water circulation system would help. But anyhow, are they decent bait for anything? I imagine there must be something in the hawkesbury that likes the taste of them?
