Yaulpang
G'day all, Im looking for a land based spot to catch slimies (slimy mackeral). I'll share a spot I know first: Camp cove/Lady Jane beach at Watsons bay. Fish off the rocks south of Lady Jane beach on a warm, windless night and NOT a full moon. It tends to fish well in summer and is hit and miss. When the fish are there it is non stop bites but other times it is dead. Stand out baits are mullet gut. I've done well on cubed pilchards. I fish with no sinker and a glow stick on the end of my line about 150mm above my hook. OK so there you go, if anyone has a spot of their own let me know. As an incentive PM my secret spot at Watsons bay to the first reply. Cheers, Paul
