Bluewater Every Where But Few Fish

We worked the wide grounds yesterday for a couple of rat fin and a dollie.Tough fishing in the 25 degree cobalt blue water, however little lived in it. No bait and no birds just miles of marine desert. There was a hahahahafish caught by Marquis and a lost wahoo but generally very quite. The problem is the hot currents running at 3.5 knots to the south is never good. The Fads in 75 fathoms were all but under in the current and the water inside 75 fathoms was ordinary. Prediction is that within a week we will see the current back off and the water will come back a tad in temp and we should see some excellent fishing. It is important to remember that striped marlin do not like hot water they are a 21 to 23 degree specie.Any way we live in hope that it improves soon, it always does..Broadbill and Billfisher are heading to Pt Stephens late January for our three month safari on the marlin and mahis. We still have a couple of spots on a share charter both one dayers and three day trips..if any one is interested ring 9534 2378. Details on www.gamefishingcharters.com.au.."Fishing adventure packages"

To all Fishraiders have a safe and Happy Xmas and a fishy new year See you all on Mother Ocean somewhere :1fishing1: , sometime.
