Guest Big-Banana
Spoke to a mate who fished it today for some good dollies to a few kilos. Not schooling in huge proportions yet though. Water temp has backed off and was around 18.5 he said. Live Slimys were the only things they were hitting. Tackle depends on the fish, use heavier stuff for the live baits. Use some lighter stuff to 6kg for the smaller fish. Use Pillies for bait. Have a troll first to see if theres a few fish there with some small xmas trees (red/white & pink). The FAD itself is 19km out, but if the days good enough keep going past it too the traps a bit wider. You'll almost always do better there. Good luck.
