Guest DV8 Posted January 7, 2007 Share Posted January 7, 2007 To answer my own question after a weekends fishing. I went out to West Reef Sunday morning. There were fish all over the sounder. They wouldn't touch fresh squid!! what were these things I wondered. In my burley I saw some green prawns by some stroke of luck, so i decided to put one on. To cut a long storey short, they were trevally (very finicky), and definitely a sign of colder water. There was not a reddie in sight and in fact nothing even touched the squid in three hours.
