Bream Mad
Hi Raiders, Headed to my local spot armed with my new heartland stick to catch the run out. As the tide was still pretty high opted for a 2"BM on 1/32 jig and targeted the mangroves. Four casts in and the heartland loads up with the drag singing Maybe need to tighten that drag just slightly as he not very big, but very sprirted I score couple of smallish flatties (30ish) then wade out onto the flats where the fun begins Heavy wind and discoloured water makes the weedbeds harder than usual to find, but sure enough the bloodworm BM is nailed on the drop on the edge of a weedbed and this guy feels a lot bigger 26cm is OK for this water, and he realy nailed the BM actually jumping out of the water on hookup. The flatties then go on the chew and i must have released 5 small ones On the way home i get another bream The new stick performs fantastic, and casts light weight jigs miles. All in all a good result for 2hours fishing Cheers BM

martymonsta
G'day Bream Mad, Was that you out on the flats at Crosslands the other day? I was out wading too with my mate for about an hour. Only scored a small bream and flatty on a RMG Scorpion in Orange/Gold but will be back to try my luck some other time. Cheers Marty
