Flatties Really Do Eat Anything

Hi all

Went out to H&C yesterday morning for a little light SP fun and managed a decent bag of bream but the funniest thing that has happened to me yet was when I snagged a bunch of weed and was pulling it back towards the shore along the surface and this massive Flathead erupts smashing the clump of weed. Unfortunately I missed the fish but what a great bit of surface smashing action to liven up the day! Just goes to show you that with Flatties it doesnt matter what you have at the end of your line, as long as its moving a Flattie will grab it.

Drifting off cronulla last weekend domza caught a flatty we boated it and about 5 little fish of 8 cm fell out of its mouth the flatty was a good 43cm long.
