Guest robbie
hi raiders dad and I put the tinny in at cooks river the plan was to flick sp's around and see if we could find some bream.anyway after about 30min without a bump the old [george.s] said lets head out to the end of the runnway and have a look . what a top idea as the water was boiling with fish mostly choppers but a ton of fun on the bream gear. the old man spotted some bigger fish right at the end of the runnway so we flew over and the first cast Iam onto my first ever bonnie not real big it went 42cm the old was on too, a kingy just on 60cm I couldn't believe it there was tailor bonnies kingys and salmon all in the same school. We had ball till the wind came up. All the fish was caught on 2-4kg rods 14g and searock slugs. We were back at the ramp bye 9.30 am a short trip but we had a ripper time.
