tony2504 Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Hi Flattieman, I'm new to the site, and I must say I really enjoy the fishing reports. I too was up at The Entrance over the past two weeks, and I am glad I was not Robinson Crusoe on the fishing front. We fished the two weeks and over that time grabbed ourselves about 4 kilos of Prawns, a few blue swimmers, however, the fish in the first week were not on the bite. It wasn't until the second week that we started to get a couple of flatties, whiting etc. What reall amazed us is we were using live whitebait for the flatties, and were catching on average 20-30 per day around the 20-30cm mark. Using SP's in the same area we usually brought home 2-3 around the 40cm mark. Couldn't believe the larger ones went for plastics rather than live bait. There's always next year Cheers!
