mrmoshe Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Man feared drowned in Murray A MAN is missing, believed drowned, in the Murray River after his boat was seen to crash into a bridge in South Australia. Witnesses told police a man in his 20s fell from a small aluminium boat about 9pm (CDT) yesterday when it hit a pylon of the Paringa Bridge at Renmark in the Riverland. Local police and State Emergency Service personnel were unable to find any trace of the man last night. Water Police today resumed the search but said the man has drowned.
