KingsRule
Hey guys, quite recently i have been getting a few questions about what lures i use for frigate mackeral. These are the 'chosen ones' . (all 7g~15g) From the top- - watsons - 8g - searock 7g - gillies 10g - gillies 7g (i think it was a gillies) - gillies 15g I have had most success on the plain silver lures. I also prefer to change the trebles to singles to ensure a better hookup and stop the fish 'levering' themselves of the hooks ( ) Hope this helps

The Iceman
Try gamakatsu Siwash saltwater fly hooks when changing to single hooks They have a large eye good for splitrings
Guest Big-Banana
I used to get them on River to Sea lures. Bit hard to cast in wind though
Guest IFishSick.
That might just give me the edge on those tricky bums of a fish.
