being a new fisho .. I have a question that popped in to my head

Ive searched but cant find info on this topic ..

Here is the senario ..

Hook a fish ....

Fish is undersized .

BUT ..

Hook has come out through the eye ... or whatever .. etc etc etc ..

With the hook removed the fish is as good as dead ... or is already dead ..

Is the rule to still chuck it back in ??

whats the go ?

ok .. that makes sense ..

actually i wonder what percentage of fish survive after being cought and released ..

There was a study done on this a while back and we had a discussion on the forum about it.

The study can be found Here and scroll down to page 13.

A good read.

Cheers,

Pete.

Pelicans too

especially true for the pelicans at the entrance.

they circle around you even before you catch a fish and charge in once a fish is landed with little regard for the fisherman.
