Ricky Posted March 24, 2007 Share Posted March 24, 2007 Hi All, I'm from Adelaide, but am going on a fishing trip to the Hawkesbury on 19/20/21 April. I have a boat and would like to catch a jewie (along with every one else) from there. I am looking to catch some squid for bait, I have heard about the cowan weed beds, but not sure about their location, can somebody give me some idea, or any other good spots for squid?? Davy Posted March 24, 2007 Share Posted March 24, 2007 i rekon squid hold up in any type of structure with weed beds, heck ive even found a few around oyster covered rocks. so when u have time go down and look for weedbeds that looks like it can provide shelter and food. a wharf with a light at night is a good plus as well! good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
